Research Nurse – Brain Recovery Unit/Centre Graduate Studies Scholarships


Graduate Studies Scholarships The Center for Brain Research is seeking a Research Nurse to assist with studies of biomarkers intended for neurological function and disease, and clinical trials of new neurological treatment. This position is for 5 years in the first instance, with the renewal of annual contract. The position is 0.6 FTE and is mainly in Tamaki Campus, Glen Innes, with functions in Grafton campus once a week on average is based. The Graduate Studies Scholarships beginning is ideal in April 2011, or a reasonable time thereafter.

The
Graduate Studies Scholarships role requires current fiscal year, first aid, CPR and certification and phlebotomy skills and experience. Experience working with people with neurological disorders would be an advantage.

This position would suit someone who is well organised and able to multi-task, is self-motivated, reliable and has initiative. The Graduate Studies Scholarships candidate must have excellent communication and people skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
